Indoor vs Outdoor Use

Cushion tyres are smaller and made of hard rubber compound and are best for hard, smooth indoor surfaces due to their compactness and manoeuvrability. Pneumatic tyres are ideal for outdoor and rough surfaces.

Minimum Aisle Width and Lifting Height

Forklift dimensions need to allow for doorways, aisle widths and overhead obstructions. It is also critical that the forklift has sufficient lifting height for all expected uses.

Maximum Load

The maximum weight that you intend to pick up will affect the capacity required of your forklift.
